Q2: Write a program that reads in a series of integer numbers, and determines how many positive odd
numbers are among them. Numbers are read until a negative integer is given. Use DO-Loop with
EXIT statement.
Problem 2: Safe Square Root
Write a program to take the square root of a number typed in by the user. Your program should use a while-loop to ensure that the number they typed in is positive. If the number is negative, you should print out a warning “The number is negative. Try again.” and re-prompt the user to take a valid input.
You can get the square root of a number n with Math.sqrt(n). Make sure you don't do this until the loop is done and you know for sure you've got a positive number.
Sample input and output:
Enter a number > -9
The number is negative. Try again.
Enter a number > 9
The square root of 9 is 3.0
Enter a number > 2
The square root of 2 is 1.4142135623730951
pow(3,4)=?

- The main difference between using do/while loop and while loop is that while loop executes the code block once then it checked if the condition is true so it will repeat the loop. True Falsearrow_forwardUse C++ programming language.. Random Number Guessing Game Write a program that generates a random number between 1 and 100 and asks the user to guess what the number is. If the user’s guess is higher than the random number, the program should display “Too high. Try again.” If the user’s guess is lower than the random number, the program should display “Too low. Try again.” The program should use a loop that repeats until the user correctly guesses the random number. Then the program should display “Congratulations. You figured out my number.”arrow_forwardPYTHON PROGRAMMING ONLY. Please provide explanation as well. Thank you. Write a while loop that lets a user enter a number less than 10. If the number inputted exceeds 10, print an error and ask for the number again, in which a user may enter the same or a different number. When the user inputs a valid number, the number should be incremented by 5, and the result assigned to a variable named sum. This loop should continue to iterate as long as the sum totals less than 50. When sum exceeds 30, it should print "Almost there..." until it reaches or exceeds 50. Once it does, print out "your final sum is (replace with final sum)". For example, if the sum is currently 45 and the user inputs 4, the program will not enter the loop again since the new sum will be 54 and should then print "your final sum is 45".arrow_forward
- Program - Python Write a program asking the user to keep entering in strings (ie names) until they enter the string “leave”, at which point you’ll exit the loop and tell them how many times they entered the string “gold”. This one requires that you use a loop and also keep a tally of the number of times they enter the string gold.arrow_forwardBasic while loop expression. Write a while loop that prints userNum divided by 4 (integer division) until reaching 2 or less. Follow each number by a space. Example output for userNum = 160:40 10 2 Note: These activities may test code with different test values. This activity will perform four tests, with userNum = 160, then with userNum = 8, then with userNum = 0, then with userNum = -1. See "How to Use zyBooks".Also note: If the submitted code has an infinite loop, the system will stop running the code after a few seconds, and report "Program end never reached." The system doesn't print the test case that caused the reported message.arrow_forward6. Distance Traveled The distance a vehicle travels can be calculated as follows: distance = speed time For example, if a train travels 40 miles per hour for 3 hours, the distance traveled is 120 miles. Write a program that asks the user for the speed of a vehicle (in miles per hour) and how many hours it has traveled. The program should then use a loop to display the distance the vehicle has traveled for each hour of that time period. Here is an example of the output: What is the speed of the vehicle in mph? 40 How many hours has it traveled? 3 Hour Distance Traveled 1 40 2 80 3 120 Input Validation: Do not accept a negative number for speed and do not accept any value less than 1 for time traveled.arrow_forward
- Choose the correct answer from the question below.arrow_forwardMUST BE IN PYTHON PROGRAMMING CODE!!!!! NO C++ or Java!! Directions: Design a program with a loop that lets the user enter a series of names (in no particular order). After the final person’s name has been entered, the program should display the name that is first alphabetically and the name that is last alphabetically. For example, if the user enters the names Kristin, Joel, Adam, Beth, Zeb, and Chris, the program would display Adam and Zeb. Additional requirements: Note that the possible set of input values can include negative, 0, or positive values, but not the sentinel value of -99. DESIGN HINT: • When determining the largest (or smallest) value in a set of numbers, remember to use variables to keep track of the current largest (or smallest) number found thus far. These variables can then be used as a comparison to each subsequent input number to see if the new number is larger (or smaller) than the current largest (or smallest) number and updated appropriately. At the end of all…arrow_forwardThe do/while loop is generally used when the program loop should run at least once before testing for the stopping condition. True or False?arrow_forward
