To discuss:
The naming system and numbering the five metacarpals of the palmar region and five sets of phalanges (bone) in the digits; why there are 5 digits but only 14 phalanges; the base, the body, and head of all 19 metacarpals and phalanges; and the anatomical name of the thumb.
Introduction:
The arms on each side are connected to the appendicular skeleton by a set of bones called as pectoral griddle. In (vertebrate) humans, this skeletal framework offers support for the placement of forelimbs or pectoral fins. The upper limb in human or any vertebrate is the region consisting of hand, axilla, arm, and shoulder.

- Lateral patellar tilt and subluxation with patellofemoral cartilage degeneration that is worst laterally. There is trochlear dysplasia and borderline tibial lateralization but no other stigmata of instability and no bone bruising that would indicate a recent dislocation.Prominent exostosis off of the posterior aspect of the medial tibial plateau. Marrow appears to be contiguous with the marrow in the proximal tibia which would favor this representing an osteochondroma. This is in contact with both the posterior cruciate ligament and the posterior aspect of the medial femoral condyle. Each pectoral girdle consists of a scapula, or shoulder blade, and a clavicle, or collar- bone. Clavicle: A slender, double-curved bone that attaches the upper limbs to the axial skeleton. It includes the following features: ● Sternal end: the blunt, medial extremity, which articulates with the manubrium of the sternum. Acromial end: the slightly flattened lateral extremity, which articulates with the acro- mion of the scapula. Scapula: A triangular bone with projections for muscle attachment. It contains many features, which include: Spine: the narrow ridge on the posterior side. Acromion: a flattened, prominent process at the lateral end of the spine. = Coracoid process: a beak-like process superior and medial to the glenoid cavity (corac = crow + -oid = resemblance to).
