Question
Chapter 8.4, Problem 2SB
Summary Introduction
To review:
The C4 pathway and the method through which this pathway circumvents photorespiration.
Introduction:
Photorespiration affects the rate of photosynthesis in plants. To minimize its effect, plants of the hot and arid region have developed special anatomy and a different pathway of photosynthesis called the C4 pathway. They possess a high number of chloroplasts in their cells.
