In the gain adjustment technique, we adjust the value of gain to get the improved transient response. This can be done only if the desired closed-loop pole exists in the root locus. To overcome this disadvantage, new technique was introduced. This technique is commonly known as compensation design techniques. In this method, we introduce the cascade or feedback filter with the system.
