Cytochrome P450 is the enzymes found in all life forms like, animals, fungi, plants, archaea, bacteria, and viruses. These are class of protein whose superfamily possess heme group as a cofactor and thus are called hemoproteins. They are involved in electron transport chain and are also used as enzymatic reactions.
