Case summary:
The annual revenue of Company N is $35 billion in 2018, which holds 60 percent market share in running shoes and a 90 percent market share in basketball shoes and apparel. Company N was founded by field coach Person BB and middle-distance runner Person PK. Their ultimate goal was creating and sponsoring heroes who are from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Company N has sponsored for Person TW in golf, Person MV in football, and Person LA in cycling. There are more sports stars. However, the heroes have been unmasked as cheaters. In some cases, Company N continues to sponsor its athletes who are involved in scandals and in some cases, they have terminated their contract.
