•
To produce hassle free products and provides service and enjoyment for customers.
•
Another objective for Apple is to produce hassle free products that will provide service and enjoyment for customers. For Apple to reach this goal Apple believes in the continuous investment in their Research and Development department in order to continue to produce quality products.
•
Become the leading business in the mobile market
•
Apple biggest objective is to become the leading business in the mobile market. Their strategy associated with this goal is to become an online search machine and platform for online advertising.
•
Being a business in designing and manufacturing electronic devices Apple experiences constant competition from other companies, however Apple continues its research and development to produce user- friendly technology that will make them the leading business in electronic devices.
HOW INFORMATION SYSTEMS CREATE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES FOR YOUR APPLE
•
Mobile devices all for better ways to interact with information systems. In 2011, the majority of Apple’s revenue came from devices such as iPhones and iPads. Apple sold more iPads than HP sold computers in 2011 as well. (
Valacich, J. A., & Schneider, C. 2016)
•
Apple uses big data to deliver highly targeted recommendations, content, and advertisements to its users. (Atwell, K. 2023) This would make it so that Apple could continuously reel in consumers by pushing them advertisements and content that may benefit them.
•
Big data also plays a big role in the product development process for Apple. Apple uses big data to analyze customer feedback and usage patterns to determine what improvements should be implemented into the next line of products. (Atwell, K, 2023)
•
The data that is collected from customers is then turned into knowledge. The knowledge is used to create a more innovative product in an attempt to keep the customer coming back and to drive sales.
