To achieve my goal of being the Business/Divisional Manager, I need to have an MBA degree which is one thing that I have already started and will surely be completing successfully within three years’ time i.e. end 2015. And I am already having the management experience of 6 years now. With 4 years of experience as a Head of the department, and that too with reputable aviation firm in South Africa.
The overall development of an economy is a major factor that has significant impacts on the development of the economy's financial markets. Since well-functioning financial systems offer good and easily accessible information, they lower the costs of transaction. This in turn enhances resource allocation and strengthens economic growth. The financial services industry consists of various systems such as stock markets and banking systems that enhance growth and help in poverty reduction. However, commercial banks tend to dominate the financial system during low levels of economic development while stock markets become more active and effective during periods of high levels of economic development ("Financial Sector", n.d.). The other important systems in the financial services industry include sound macroeconomic policies, shareholder protection, and good legal systems.
The United States of America’s financial system comprises of the banking system, financial markets and nonbank financial institutions. (Lee, 2001) Banking system furthermore consists of the Federal Reserve System, foreign banks, commercial banks, offshore banks, credit unions and saving institutions. Financial markets consist of debt and money markets, equities markets and futures and options markets. Lastly, nonbank financial institutions consist of asset-based finance companies, commercial lending companies and insurance companies. This paper is an endeavor to understand the workings and structure of the Federal Reserve Banks of USA.
I am very excited to enter a MBA program that will allow me to focus on my interest in healthcare management as well as provide career possibilities and exposure to resources. My academic objective is to receive a MBA with a concentration in healthcare management. I believe that my education and work experience have provided me with a great introduction to healthcare. Within my experience I have gained an interest in management. I believe that a Carlow University MBA is necessary to gain a broader understanding of management and to sharpen my analytical skills in order to be successful.
I am a MBA student taking different courses to develop a great understanding of the various aspects that businesses entails. I want to be well –versed in a variety of other areas that will make me confident in my career.
I understand that doing MBA is not an easy job; it requires lot of hard work. It is not simply learning theory and writing it in exam paper. In fact, it is a field that prepares you for the practical world of business. Therefore, I will have to do a lot more than simple learning; which will be going to different organizations for interviews, preparing thesis, designing marketing campaigns, doing internships and a lot more.

This research essay is mainly concentrate on different types of institutions in the financial system and the role they play. Moreover, the different types of institutions in different countries will then compare in order to analyze the similarity and differences.
