Davidovic, Ilijevic, Luk, and Pogarcic did a nice job of explaining and laying out the research and the results. The information was clear, concise, and the results were easy to interpret. In addition, the authors were able to determine the different advantages associated with Cloud Computing. The limitations of the study are only 51% of the respondents did not complete the questionnaire. In addition, the study was conducted within the Republic of Croatia, during a deep recession. The referenced journal article applies to the research topic because it is important to know how Cloud Computing affects company’s internal controls. In addition, it is important to understand what Cloud Computing is and the benefits it offers businesses. This study will help provide valuable information to the reader when researching Cloud Computing. Davidovic, V., Ilijevic, D., Luk, V., & Pogarcic, I. (2015). Private cloud computing and delegation of control. Procedia Engineering, 100(25th DAAM
As previously mentioned, cloud computing has recently emerged as a pioneering model for hosting and distributing services over the Internet. Actually, the model entails sharing resources on a huge scale through a value effective and location independent process. While the resources on the cloud are deployed by the seller, they are utilized by the consumer (Belamkar, 2014). Cloud computing is very beneficial to organizations and companies because it is engaging to business organizations

In statement, Alijabre writes “Cloud Computing can help business shift their focus to developing god business applications that will bring true business value.” To prove his point Alijabre, uses statistical data gathered from one of big leading providers in Cloud Services. “Although cloud computing has been recognized as a way to improve business, not all businesses are the same. Cloud computing is a new technology that comes with both benefits and drawbacks and like any new tech it can be used to great success when paired with steps to mitigate the security issues it raises. Cloud computing has become somewhat of an ambiguous term often having different meaning for different people. An article in InfoWorld (2013) stated, ”Cloud computing comes into focus only when you think about what IT always needs: a way to increase capacity or add capabilities on the fly without investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new software. Cloud computing encompasses any

Available research on the structures, processes, security measures surrounding the cloud services are still at an early stage.

Cloud computing is the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer” (MultiTrends Inc, 2015). What does this mean for businesses, both big and small? Could this change the way businesses store data, and information? Will it be cost reducing, efficient and scalable? I have found the solution to these questions and many more while researching the “Cloud” for this paper. Before this project, I had little-to-no idea what cloud computing was all about, nor did I ever imagine it would be such an asset in the business world.

Though the actual history of cloud computing is not that old (the first business and consumer cloud computing services websites – salesforce.com and Google, were launched in 1999), the story of cloud computing is intertwined directly with the creation of the Internet and business, the answer to the unsolved question of how internet utilization can help improve business technology was and is cloud computation. Business technology history is both extensive and interesting, almost as extensive as business itself, but the invention of computers are most responsible for the influence on business technology. Cloud computing, like all other innovation was nurtured in the right environment to take off, as multi-tenant architectures, highly

The challenge is to determine what factors drive a company’s decision makers to choose or not to choose to employ cloud computing to meet organizational needs.
Services such as, data storage and security, are provided by cloud computing over the internet. In cloud computing, users can pay for what they consume (Bisong & Rahman, An Overview of the Securtiy Concerns in Enterprise Cloud Computing, 2011). Cloud computing is an emerging information technology, which can make it easier for the users to manage their data. Cloud computing allows businesses to expand as new cloud-based models are being discussed and implemented as solutions (Bamiah & Brohi, 2011).
What precisely is Cloud Computing? And why are so many organizations switching to this new phenomenon? Cloud computing is defined as “the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a metered service over a network, typically the Internet” (Wikipedia).
