According to PsychologyToday emotional intelligence is when you know your emotions and the emotions of other people , the have three skills: emotional awareness, the ability to enhance emotions and the ability to manage emotions. My understanding of emotional intelligence taking from PsychologyToday is that being able to understand and analyze the emotions that go through you and others around you and also knowing what drive you and other people , with those skills you can control any emotions you may suffer.

You are aware of the effect your behavior has on others” I agree with this , I know how my emotions affect those around me as a result my family and friends are doing their best to help me fight through my depression and anxiety , but sometimes I do not feel like talking or sharing anything which is wrong according to my doctor and I have to work on being more honest and open so my journey to recovery can be a lot easier. “If you can learn to be more aware of when emotions are driving your behavior and stay calm in your high pressure moments, you will see a big increase in your Emotional Intelligence” this solution is something that I will start doing to improve my Emotional Intelligence, I tend to shut down when someone around me is stressing or overreacting to a situation. My two strategies that resonate with me from Ihhp.com are staying calm when I am in a high pressure moment, usually when I am in a high pressure moment I just shut down and not even retain any information, but now I will just clam down , access the situation and then make a clam well thought decision. Number two is to learn which situations besides work create pressure and stress for me , sometimes I do not even know what is stressing me but I am just stressing and over thinking, going further I will learn the root of my stress or
