Whenever an experiment is proposed, a hypothesis is given which states the possible outcome of that experiment. The hypothesis is then proved correct or incorrect by conducting experiments. On the other hand, a null hypothesis states that there is no statistical difference between the two measured variables in an experiment. It is denoted by H0. Researchers always try to disprove or reject the null hypothesis.
