The structure in C++:

• A structure is a user defined datatype that allows the user to combine different kind of data together.
• The structure helps to create new datatype which is more complex in nature.
• A structure is more like an array, but array can hold only one kind of data. The structure can contain data of various types.
• The keyword “struct” is used to define a structure. The syntax of declaring a structure is given below,

  struct structure_name

  {

//structure members

datatype variable_name1;

datatype variable_name2;

datatype variable_name3;

}structure_variable;

• In the above syntax, “struct” is the keyword used to define a structure. The “structure_name” is the name of the structure. The “variable_name1”, “variable_name2”, “variable_name3” are the members of the structure of different datatype. The “structure_variable” is the object of the structure which is used to access the members of the structure.
