What is HRM?
In addition to the definition of HRM on the previous page, Armstrong (2014, p. 11) mentions that “HRM is concerned with all aspects of how people are employed and managed in organizations.”
As we refer to the two definitions, we should note that HRM is not limited to a specific department or unit within an organization, such as the Personnel Department. Therefore, the management of human resources can be carried out by other organizational stakeholders and may include general managers, accounts officers or administrative officers.
