Introduction:

Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) is an enzyme that regulates the concentration of acetylcholine. As soon as the signal is passed onto the muscle cell, the enzyme acetylcholinesterase binds to acetylcholine and breaks down the molecule into acetic acid and choline.
