Chapter 10, Problem 11CYU
Summary Introduction
To review:
The fiber types present in the highest numbers in the muscles of the lower limbs of a sprinter.
Introduction:
The muscle fibers arise from the fusion of myoblasts in a process called myogenesis. These fibers have cylindrical shapes and consist of multiple nuclei and surrounded by the sarcolemma. Nymerous mitochondria are also observed in the muscle fibers as they require continuous energy supply.
