Oxygen debt is need of the excess oxygen after a vigorous activity such as exercise. By utilization of the excess oxygen, the body is able to convert the lactic acid which was produced during vigorous activity by anaerobic respiration, into glucose. The ADP and creatine molecules are replenished into creatine phosphate and ATP.
