Chapter 10, Problem 9CRCAQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The repair of skeletal muscle tissue.
Introduction:
The skeletal muscle fibers are large multinucleated cells that perform contractile function responsible for body movements and locomotion. Multiple muscle fibers are arranged in the form of a bundle of sticks called fascicles. These fascicles bundle together to form the skeletal muscle.

Unlike skeletal muscle smooth muscle Mayer spontaneously contract when it is. What feature of smooth muscle allows it to stretch without immediately resulting in a strong contraction?
Why does Skeletal muscle cells contain more mitochondria than other organelles?
