Concept introduction:
Deionized water means that the water which does not contain any ions. Deionized water is formed by passing the hard water through an ion exchange system which exchanges all ions. Cations like sodium ions are replaced by hydrogen ions whereas anions like chloride ions are replaced by hydroxide ion of water.
