Interpretation: Calculate volume of oxygen needed to react with 55.2 gram of butane at 0.850atm and 25°C
Conceptual Introduction: Molar mass of substance are given in periodic table. Element molar mass is in gram/mole. We can determine chemical amount of known substance in moles by dividing the substance mass in grams by substance molar mass.

N= no. of moles of gas (amount of substance in gas)

The gas constant R has a value 8.314J/mole Kelvin
