Introduction:

Sustainability refers to that which can be maintained indefinitely. A sustainable food system includes the health of the individuals, the community, and the environment that can provide food for the world’s populations and for future generations too. A farm is the area of land where foods and crops are produced. Animal farming is used to raise animals for foods. In the United States, the dominant food animals are cows, pigs, and chickens. Animal farming takes a lot of agricultural resources to raise livestock for food.
