Here, m is the mass, v is the tangential speed, and r is the radius of the curved path.

The expression for the velocity is,

  v=rω

Here, r is the radius of the curved path and ω is the angular velocity.

The expression for the rotational speed is,

  ω=2πT

Here, T is the time period.

Calculation:

The angular momentum is,

  L=mvrL=m(rω)rL=mr2ω

Consider that the angular momentum is conserved, the rotational speed is inversely proportional to the mass.
