Introduction:

The nervous system controls and regulates all body activities. The brain is the major controller of the body and it is classified in forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain. The hindbrain includes the cerebellum, medulla oblongata, and pons. The cerebellum regulates the body posture and voluntary movements of the limbs. The skeletal muscles are involved in the movements of limbs that are innervated by the postganglionic neurons.
