Chapter 1.2, Problem 4ELO
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The different ways by which microbes are involved in the Earth’s ecosystems.
Introduction:
Microbes have inhabited the Earth for billions of years. They not only exist but thrive in all natural and man-made habitats. Many of their normal life processes play a direct or indirect role in creating and maintaining the Earth’s ecosystems. Microorganisms are very important for developing many habitats and for influencing evolution of other life forms.
