Summary Introduction
To determine:
The reason as to why scientists as a group spend more time and money studying protozoa than they do studying algae.
Introduction:
Any living organisms that are not visible by naked eyes are said to be microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses. These organisms are classified under two categories: prokaryotic organisms and eukaryotic organisms. Prokaryotic organisms contain a cell wall but lack cell membrane bound organelles. Eukaryotic organisms contain a cell wall as well as cell bound organelles.
