Chapter 12.3, Problem 3P

1. Use a ruler and compass to draw three identical triangles, having one side of length 4 inches, one side of length $2\frac{3}{4}$ inches, and one side of length $1\frac{3}{4}$ inches.
2. For each of the three sides of the triangle you drew in part (a), let that side be the base of one triangle, and draw the corresponding height of the triangle.
3. Measure each of the three heights and use each of these measurements to determine the area of the triangle. If your three answers for the area aren't exactly the same, discuss why that might be.
