Introduction: Tuberculosis (TB) is an infection in lungs, which is mainly caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is highly contagious and is transmitted from person to person through the airborne droplets. The pathophysiologic effects of tuberculosis begin with the inspiration of bacillus M. tuberculosis through the nasal and oral openings. The bacilli are moved to the lung periphery in the upper lobe of the lung and they cause non-specific lung inflammation.
To predict: The result indicated by a positive test.
