The increased reliance of teams is referred to as the managerial reliance on teams rather than individuals to pursue the tasks and activities. The reliance on teams can be favorable for the organizations when the combined efforts and contributions by the individuals help the organizationto achieve its desired outcome. Hence, the challenges can be dealt in a better manner, and the teams are held accountable collectively in such sort of arrangement. The challenge however that comes with the increased reliance on teams is that it can lead to the rise of the complexities in certain situations when any simple task could have been easily handled by an individual.
