Introduction: Listeriosis is the type of foodborne disease cause by the bacterium Listeria monocytogens. This bacterium can multiply at below temperature 40°F. Listeriosis is mainly transmitted through oral route during intake of unhygienic food products. Foodborne illness is the type of sickness that is mainly caused by the consumption of contaminated food or beverages. Foodborne is also known as food poisoning.
