The relationship between the pressure of gas with the number of particles have to be described.

The ideal gas law was derived by combining three important laws of the gases. The ideal gas law can be expressed as-

  VnTPPV=nRT Where, R is universal gas constant.

The ideal gas law consists of all the variables of a gas such as pressure (P), volume (V), number of moles (n) and temperature (T).

Explanation of Solution

The pressure of a gas is affected by the number of particles and does not depend on the nature of the particles. The various samples with different sizes and having same number of moles of particles will show same pressure. This tells us that the volume of the individual gas particle is not important and therefore the forces among the particles must not be important.
