This department has a million budget to ensure that timely access is provided to families and survivors; however, this department is facing many problems. It was found that the system had many problems as people have to wait for a long to get to the facilities and there were falsifying records. The president took immediate action for this and provided all the required resources. MD who took over as the new president tried to correct the situation. After two years, it was again found that the money was improperly managed and hospitals that needed the amount were not assigned. MD however said that veterans should not state about the time lag for which criticism was also made. MD was hence fired, and DS was made the secretary of the department. Many complaints were again made, and a new investigation was made. The investigation found that top leadership at VA had a climate of complacency. The report found that leadership was aware of the problems but did not act properly. DS then left or was fired from VA and RJ was made the new secretary of VA. However, many kinds of complaints were also made against RJ considering his moral and ethical behavior. The VA despite facing all these problems had continued to provide good service to the veterans and the department needs a competent and experienced leader.
