Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The ependymal cells in the nervous system secrete the cerebrospinal fluid. It flows into the ventricles of the brain. There are three foramina in the brain through which there is a flow of the cerebrospinal fluid. Choroid plexus is present in the ependymal cells which secretes this fluid. It takes place in the thalamus region of the brain. The exchange of the gases takes place between the interstitial fluid and the cerebrospinal fluid before circulating into the spinal cord.
