Summary Introduction

Whether the air over a snow-covered surface should be warmer or colder than the air above a dark-colored, barren field.

Introduction:

Albedo determines the reflectivity of the Earth’s surface. High and low albedo in the surface is responsible for making the air warmer or colder. Light-colored surfaces have high albedo than the dark-colored surfaces.
