Retentive timer:
A retentive timer is used when the user wants to keep the values of accumulated time during power loss or the modification in the rung state from true to false.
- When the accumulating time of device is equal to its preset value, the connections of the device modify its states.
- The retentive timer must be intentionally reset with different signals in order to reset the accumulated time.
Reset instruction:
- The reset instruction is represented as RES.
- It is used to reset value of a timer or counter.
- It is also used to reset the accumulated value of timer.
