Chapter 16, Problem 25ICA
The mass of several different lengths of the same type of wire were measured and the following results recorded:
Length (L) [m]: 5 20 50 100
Mass (M) [g]: 700 2830 7070 14, 200
Assume these data fit a linear model. Determine that model (mass as a function of length) and use it to predict the mass of one kilometer of the same wire. You must do all calculations in MATLAB.

The amount of time it takes for a pendulum to swing “to-and-fro” through one complete cycle is called the “period” and is calculated using the following equation:
where
T = period in seconds, I = mass moment of inertia, m = mass of pendulum in kilograms
g = gravitational acceleration, 9.8 m/s2, h = effective length of pendulum in meters
What is the appropriate unit for I if the preceding equation is to be homogeneous in units? Please show all of your work.
For the Following question Graph all 4 : [I just need all 4 graphs and please explain and make clean solution]
Position vs time
Velocity vs time
Acceleration vs time
Force vs time

Question : A 550 kilogram mass initially at rest acted upon by a force of F(t) = 50et Newtons. What are the acceleration, speed, and displacement of the mass at t = 4 second ?
a =(50 e^t)/(550 ) [N/kg]
v = ∫_0^t▒(50 e^t )dt/(550 )= v_0 +(50 e^t-50)/550=((e^t- 1))/11
x = ∫_0^t▒(e^t- 1)dt/(11 )= x_0 +(e^t- t - 1)/(11 )
a(4s)=(50*54.6)/550= 4.96[m/s^2 ]
v(4s)=((e^4-1))/11= 4.87[m/s]
x(4s)=((e^4- 4 - 1))/11= 4.51 [m]

A spacecraft travels fast the earth has a greater velocity (ⱱ) which approximates the speed of light. The time (to) measured in the spacecraft is different from the time (t) measured on earth. The time difference is given, to = t √1- ⱱ 2/c2 = t (1 – ⱱ 2/c2)1/2.
