Introduction:
Eyes are the sensory organs that provide vision. Components of the eyes include the cornea, pupil, iris, lens, retina, optic nerve, choroid, and the vitreous chamber. The retina layer of an eye includes photoreceptor cells, which are rod and cone cells. Rod cells provide vision in low light intensity whereas cone cells provide vision in bright light and produce colored vision. Various disorders are associated with vision for example, cataract, glaucoma, age-associated muscular degeneration, and some other disorders of accommodation.
