Question
Chapter 16, Problem 2TYR
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The Autonomic Nervous System's two divisions have contrasting impacts on an organ. The division of sympathetic accelerates the brain, and the division of parasympathetic slows it down. Each division activates and inhibits certain organs. Sympathetic and parasympathetic neurons excrete various neurotransmitters and cells respond to the same neurotransmitter in various ways depending on what type of receptor they have for it.
