About the secretion of acetylcholine.
Introduction:
Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that is secreted inside the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. It is stored in a vesicle at the end of cholinergic neurons. It releases inside the neuromuscular junction when the nerve impulse reaches the terminal of a motor neuron. Then it binds with a receptor of muscle fibers of the postsynaptic membrane and the permeability of membrane changes and it involves the contraction of muscle cells.
