To write:
The conditions under which a population experience zero population growth.
Introduction:
Zero population growth (ZPG) is a state of statistics balance where the population of people in an area neither grows nor declines. This stats is also known as replacement level of fertility.
Explanation of Solution
ZPG is the demographic balance where the on total population remain same. Zero population growth is stable at few optimum population. It is an ideal condition where the number of births and immigrants is equal to the number of deaths and emigrants.
It is also believed by some critics of ZPG that the low birth rates slows the economy of a country because the birth of few will result in the fewer working people which will in turn leads to less consumption of products and services provided in a nation.
The condition under which a population experience zero population growth is when the number of births and immigrants are similar to the number of deaths and emigrants.
