Introduction:

The quark is a type of an elementary particle which forms matter. These particles are hard to see and also impossible to measure because these are extremely tiny particles. 

Quarks are found to be in six types and they are: up, down, charm, strange, top, and bottom. 

The theory of quark was first presented by Murray Gell-Mann. As per Gel-Mann some known particles like pion are made up of two quarks. Nutrons and protons are made up of three quarks.
