Introduction:

Quark is a fundamental constituent of matter. The Quark model was presented by Murray Gel-Mann and is a hadron’s ordering or classification schemes. Hadrons are the built from the quarks and belong to the class of subatomic particle.  

Explanation: 

The quark is an elementary particle and constituent of matter. The quarks are combined to form hadrons. Quarks are not observed in isolation due to color confinement but they can be found in hadrons. Hadrons are most stable and components of atomic nuclei, neutrons, and protons. 

Conclusion: 

Quarks occur in the fundamental 3D representation of (SU)3 color group which is exact the symmetry of the standard model.
