Case Summary: Bike sharing, one the initiative by the government to help people for transportation at an affordable price, is very much popular in many cities. The program was started in 2013 at city NY which has 6000 bikes in 330 stations. The station has docks, number ranging from 10 to 40, that can hold single bike. Bikes are used by people by purchasing annual or daily pass. It provides an alternative mode of transport for the people but it has its own downfall. Sometimes people may not find a station near to their place or there will be lack of docks to park the bikes. Other challenges are the season where the demand fluctuates and the region where the people using the bike.
