Program Plan Intro

Data:

• Data are facts or figures, which are recorded, and information is the knowledge derived from the data.
• When the data is summarized, ordered, grouped, averaged or compared, it is referred as Information as knowledge can be extracted from it.

Characteristics of a good data:

• Data must be “Timely”.
• Data must be “Accurate”.
• Data must be “Relevant”.
• Data must be “Sufficient”.
• Data must be “Worth” its cost.
