Introduction:
A curved mirror is mirror with curved reflecting surface and concave and convex are the types of curved mirror. Concave mirror produces both real and inverted mirror.
The first concave mirror in Gregorian telescope inverts the light rays and image formed is inverted. So, second concave mirror inverts this image again and forms a real image. The image is formed near the eyepiece due to smaller concave mirror.
Conclusion:
To form real image secondary mirror is concave.
