Chapter 17.5, Problem 17.31CP
Program Plan Intro
Set:
In C++, a associative container which is used to store the unique values is referred as “set”.
- A “set” container can be implemented using the STL (Standard Template Library) class “set” template. The importance of set are discussed as follow as:
- “set” elements must be “unique”, which means two elements in a “set” cannot have same values.
- Value of the element in a set cannot be modified, but they can be inserted or removed.
- “set” elements are automatically sorted in ascending order.
Syntax:
set<datatype> set_Name = {values};
- Where, “set_Name” is the object name.

Homework Assignment-1Topics: Functions, Dictionary, ImportProblem description: Write a python application to simulate an online clothing system. Thepurpose of this assignment is to gain experience in Python dictionary structure, create basicPython functions and import a module.Design solution: The template file contains a list of clothes item sold, each item in the listcontains the item id, name of the item and the prices. The program will generate an items_dictwhere each key is the item id of the cloth and the values will be a list of item name and priceinformation. A customer will be presented with a main menu with 4 different options: displayall items, add an item to cart, checkout and exit the program. A customer can buy an item byentering the ID of the item. This program implements a dictionary called cart, where each key isthe item id and the values are the list of name, price and quantity that user chooses topurchase. The program keeps repeating by displaying the main menu to…
Does a set allow you to store duplicate elements?
A feature of our Set ADT is that it is a collection that allows duplicate elements.

- void dict_clear (dict_t* dict); This function clears the dictionary dict, destroying each pair key/value, but does not destroy dict itself (remember that dict was allocated using dict_create, so it will need to be freed at some point, but this is not this function’s job.) This is now the function that frees (destroys) a dictionary: void dict_destroy (dict_t* dict); This operates just as dict_clear, but in addition should free the memory that was allocated during dict_create. After a call to this function, if any other library function receives the pointer dict, the behavior is undefined (most likely, it will crash). This simple function returns the current size of the dictionary: size_t dict_size (const dict_t* dict);arrow_forwardExercise: empty_dictionary Description In this exercise, your function will receive no parameters. - Concatenate Map This function will be given a single parameter known as the Map List. The Map List is a list of maps. Your job is to combine all the maps found in the map list into a single map and return it. There are two rules for addingvalues to the map. You must add key-value pairs to the map in the same order they are found in the Map List. If the key already exists, it cannot be overwritten. In other words, if two or more maps have the same key, the key to be added cannot be overwritten by the subsequent maps. - How do you determine the number of elements in a set?arrow_forwardFunction 1: draw_subregion Complete the implementation of draw_subregion. This function has the following parameters: my_turtle: A turtle object (which will do the drawing) polygon_points: A list of (x, y) points (i.e. a list of tuples) that defines the points of a polygon. This function should make the turtle draw the polygon given by the points. Make sure that you lift your pen before heading to the first point. You should also make sure you return to the very first point at the end (i.e. you will go to the first point in the list two times: once at the beginning, and once at the end). Language Pythonarrow_forwardIn C++, first, make a set with 10 objects, then ask the user to enter a value for search in your list. if the value exists then print "the value you are looking for that is in the set", otherwise print "The value you are looking for that is not in the list".arrow_forward
- C++ Programming Requirments: Please submit just one file for the classes and main to test the classes. Just create the classes before main and submit only one cpp file. Do not create separate header files. Please note: the deleteNode needs to initialize the *nodePtr and the *previousNode. The code to do this can be copied from here:ListNode *nodePtr, *previousNode = nullptr; Part 1: Your own Linked ListDesign your own linked list class to hold a series of integers. The class should have member functions for appending, inserting, and deleting nodes. Don't forget to add a destructor that destroys the list. Demonstrate the class with a driver program.Part 2: List PrintModify the linked list class you created in part 1 to add a print member function. The function should display all the values in the linked list. Test the class by starting with an empty list, adding some elements, and then printing the resulting list out.arrow_forwardUse C++ Write a Set class. The set has a dynamic array 'items' to store data. The set should satisfy the following properties: 1.No duplicate data in the set (duplicate data cannot be inserted into a set). 2.Only positive integers are stored in the set. 3.Cannot store more data than capacity. Use the following Set interface. You should write Set implementation and main function that shows all of your member functions work correctly. #ifndef SET_H#define SET_H#include <iostream>using namespace std; class Set{public:Set(); // create a set with capacity 10Set(int capacity); // create a set with capacitySet(const Set& source); // copy constructor~Set(); // destructor void insert(int item); // insert item into the setvoid remove(int item); // remove item from the setbool full(); // return true, if set is fullbool exist(int item) const; // return true, if item is in the set void operator +=(const Set& source);void operator =(const Set& source); void show () const; // show…arrow_forwardaddCourse: accepts an object of type Course as the first parameter and the idNum of the Student as the second parameter.
