Expert Solution & Answer
Chapter 17.6, Problem 17.40CP
Explanation of Solution
The “binary_search()” function:
The “binary_search()” function is used to search a particular value in the range of elements that are arranged in ascending order.
- The function returns “true” if the element is found in the range [first, last].
- Comparison is done using the operator “<”.
- The basic criteria here is the range of values should be sorted before it has to be searched.
The general syntax for the sort function is:
binary_search(iterator_1 , iterator_2,searching_value)
- The “iterator_1” iterator is used to point the first element in the range.
- The “iterator_2” iterator is used to point the end of the range.
- The “searching_value” is a value which is to be searched in the elements. If the value exists in the range, then this function will return “true”, else it will return “false”...

Define a function, myIncludes, that accepts two parameters: an array and a searchValue.
myIncludes should return true if the searchValue is an element in the array. Otherwise, myIncludes should return false.
example
myIncludes([10, 20, 30], 20); // => true myIncludes(['apples', 'bananas', 'citrus'], 'pears'); // => false

You will createa general data class and two specific data classes that inherit from that class. You will then write thearray list to hold any objects of the general data class. Finally, you will test your array list using JUnittests to prove that it does what it should.DetailsYour array list must be named DataList. Start with an array with room for 10 elements. Keep all elementscontiguous (no blank places) at the low end of the indices. When the array is full, grow it by doubling thesize. (Do not use any built-in methods to copy the array elements.
