Introduction:

From a genetic viewpoint, twins are two offsprings that are produced by the same pregnancy. According to zygosity, there are two types of twins-monozygotic or dizygotic. Monozygotic twins are developed from one embryo in which one embryo splits into two embryos, whereas dizygotic twins are developed from two different eggs that are fertilized by separate sperms.
