Scalded skin syndrome (SSS) is a skin disorder caused by Staphylococcus aureus and it occurs prominently in newborns and babies. It is usually known as Staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome and considered as a systemic form of impetigo. SSS is an exotoxins-mediated disease.
