Question
Chapter 18, Problem 7CR
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The axons types that compose the gray and white rami communicantes, their anatomic arrangement and location, and the reason for the differences in their color.
Introduction:
Rami communicantes is a Latin term. This term is used for a nerve that connects two other nerves. It mostly refers to a communicating branch between a spinal nerve and the sympathetic trunk. The sympathetic trunks are a paired cluster of nerve fibers and extend from the base of the skull to the coccyx.
