Introduction:
Genetic material or DNA present in each and every individual is unique, so the DNA pattern of an individual can be used as an identification tool, like the fingerprint. DNA fingerprinting is a method by which the identification of an individual is done by analyzing his/her genetic material. DNA fingerprinting can also determine whether two individuals are related or not, as relatives tend to have a similar DNA pattern.
