Summary Introduction

To review:

Introduction:

The molecular markers or genetic markers are the tools of molecular biology that are associated with certain locations in the genome. These are used for identification of a particular DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) sequence in a pool of unknown DNA. SNPs, VNTR (variable number of tandem repeat), and RFLP (restriction fragment length polymorphism) are the common examples of genetic markers.
